The function of sickbay is to provide medical services for all personnel and to assist unit members with medical appointments and medical administration.
Hours of Operation
0830 - 1600 Monday - Friday
Sick Call: 0830-0900 Daily
Members must check in to sick call by 0900
Medical is closed Wednesday afternoons for administrative time.
Regular Appointments
Appointments run from 1000-1400.
Members who make appointment must cancel 24hrs in advance. If a member does not show up for appointments they will be counseled. If a member is more than 5 minutes late they will be counseled and their appointment will be canceled. If a member repeatedly miss appointments, the member's supervisor will be notified. Please report to medical 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment.
If there is a threat to life and limb or other medical emergency, call 911 or report to the nearest emergency room.
Dental examinations and dental emergencies are done by our dentist Dr. Silverman. Penns Landing Dental 765 South Front Street 215 389-1685. The same policies for missed appointments apply to our civilian providers. These providers will report to us in cases where members fail to show up for appointments or are late.
Eye Exams are conducted at the Navy Business Center located at Rowan and South Broad Street and can be reached at 215 897-8147.
During Check-in to Sector Delaware Bay members must report to medical with medical records. Members will be educated on all policies of the clinic and TRICARE issues.
