Coastal Guardians of the Inside Passage

Coast Guard Sector Juneau is a multi-mission unit based in Juneau, Alaska. The command consists of approximately 250 active duty, reserve, and civilian members with ten field commands and detachments. Sector Juneau's personnel, under three main departments, Prevention, Response, and Logistics, provide a vital Coast Guard presence in four strategic Southeast Alaska communities, and conduct operations in over 20 remote areas and native villages on over 2,000 islands and 10,000 miles of shoreline.

Enlisted Person of the Quarter

Congratulations to MK3 David E. Nelson from CG Station Juneau Engineering Department. He was recently selected as the Enlisted Person of the Quarter for Sector Juneau. He was selected from among the top performers at each Sector Juneau unit because of his dedication to excellence. With exceptional detail he prepared the Station boats for the most recent Standardization Inspection that received high praise for their operational condition. His "Lead By Example" influence at the unit creates a positive environment of inclusion. Thank you for your service and Bravo Zulu!
