Port Angeles:

• YMCA – Free gym membership for CG members and their dependents assigned to Air Station / Sector Field Office (SFO) Port Angeles and the 4 patrol boats located in PA.  Playcare available for minimal hourly fee.  Various toddlers to teen programs including art classes, creative movement, sports, and after school activities. • Vern Burton Community Center- Pre-K playzone on Mon/Wed. 10-11:30am.  $1 per child.  After school program, cheerleading, and family events.


• William Shore Memorial Pool- Swim lessons for all ages, exercise classes, and recreational swimming available.


• Port Angeles Parks- There are over 28 various parks in the Port Angeles area.  One of the largest for kids is “Dream” Playground on Race Street, just south of First.


• Peninsula Pre-3 Cooperative- prethree@yahoo.com. A non-profit program for parents and children age 10 months-3.5 years.  Meets from Sept-May to include circle/song activities, art, sensory, and gross motor play. Classes are offered for various age groups.
