MCPO Lawrence "LP" Moroles
Master Chief Lawrence “LP” Moroles assumed the duties as the Air Station/Sector Field Office Port Angeles Command Master Chief in August 2013. As the senior enlisted advisor to the Commanding Officer, he advises on enlisted workforce policies and acts as a sounding board for enlisted administrative actions. Master Chief Moroles devotes much of his time providing professional and personal mentorship to all Coast Guard members throughout the command and outlying units to ensure a “Semper Paratus” crew.
Master Chief Moroles’ previous assignments include CG Station Los Angeles/Long Beach, Aviation Structural Mechanic (AM) “A” school, Air Station Kodiak AK, two tours at Air Station Sacramento CA, two tours at Air Station Barbers Point HI, and most recently the Air Station Port Angeles Leading Chief Petty Officer.
Master Chief Moroles earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
With over 28 years of Coast Guard service, Master Chief Moroles has completed the Coast Guard Chiefs Academy, Coast Guard Senior Enlisted Course, completed numerous technical class “C” schools, and earned his FAA Airframe & Powerplant License. As a HC-130 Aircrewman, he accumulated over 4,000 flight hours as a qualified Dropmaster, Loadmaster, and Sensor Operator.
