Camp Rilea 2007

Photos taken by Gary Taylor, FL 55 at Camp Rilea, just, south of Warrenton, OR. Jerry Evans and I and Jerry's Aluminum boat along with Frank Ramer and Gary Taylor and Frank's Fiberglass boat went to Camp on 08 May and  returned to the Coos Bay area on 12 May 2007. While at Camp, we worked with the new Marine Deputy Sheriff's and Oregon State Marine Troopers from all over the state of Oregon, assisting with their OSMB Training. The Training was conducted on Lake Cullaby, just about 4 miles South of Camp Rilea. During this 'On-The-Water Training', we worked with the Deputies and Troopers training them with towing and doing side tows.

Along with this training we also worked with them on various scenario's given to us by the OSMB Trainers. The OSMB Training the Deputies and Troopers receive is for 2 weeks at Camp Rilea, then we come up at the end of their classroom training where they practice their learning skills with us.  Great training for these fine men and women in Law enforcement.
 

Also with US at Camp were,
Russell and Leora Johnson, Larry Cox; Raiph Koontz and Tom Murphy
from FL 54.


There were also members and boats from Division 6 there including
Dean Wimer, DCP 6.


District 13 was well represented and well thanked by OSMB and the Law
Enforcement folks at Camp for our participation.
