The Coast Guard Cutter BLUE SHARK is the 60th "Marine Protector Class" cutter built for the Coast Guard. She was commissioned on August 16th 2005 in a ceremony held in Everett, Washington.

Coast Guard Cutter Blue Shark is moored at Naval Station Everett in Everett, Washington.

The Blue Shark's missions include maritime law enforcement, search and rescue, fisheries enforcement, recreational boating safety, Homeland Security escorts and patrols.
