CWO2 (BOSN) Chad P. Lynch
CWO Chad P. Lynch enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard on March 21st, 1999 where he attended Recruit Training at Cape May, NJ graduating in Class Yankee 154.
CWO Lynch previous command was as the Officer in Charge, USCGC BARRACUDA (WPB-87301) home ported in Eureka, CA. CWO Lynch’s previous afloat units include serving as the Executive Petty Officer aboard CGC KITTIWAKE (WPB-87316) in Honolulu and Kauai, HI, Executive Petty Officer aboard Coast Guard Cutter BRIDLE (WYTL-65607) in Southwest Harbor, ME, Operations Petty Officer aboard Coast Guard Cutter NEAH BAY (WTGB-105) in Cleveland OH and Operations Officer aboard Coast Guard Cutter MORAY (WPB-87331) in Jonesport, ME. CWO Lynch’s shore assignments include tours at Sector Buffalo, NY where he served as Ready for Operations Team Leader and Station Lorain, OH and Aids to Navigation Team Huron, OH, where he served as an ATON technician and Coxswain.
CWO Lynch worked through the ranks as a Boatswain mate and was advanced to Senior Chief Petty Officer (BMCS) on January 1st, 2013. He was appointed to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer BOSN on June 1st, 2015. CWO Lynch is also a graduate of the Chief Petty Officer Academy Class 164.
