When sending this information, be sure to note whether you request assignment to Military Housing or release onto the economy. The Housing Assignment Policy lays out requirements and restrictions for obtaining Military Housing. Any decisions to be released onto the economy must be approved by the Group Housing Officer prior to receiving BAH. The government quarters available within the Group are modern and spacious, ranging from 2-bedroom units to stand-alone 4-bedroom homes. All contain washer and dryer connections and all are unfurnished, with exception of Unaccompanied Personnel Housing (UPH).
The Group Humboldt Bay Housing Manual contains specific information and regulations governing the local housing facilities. All interested and prospective members looking to reside within Group Humboldt Bay’s government housing sites are encouraged to review the manual. Once assigned to housing, members shall abide by these rules and regulations to ensure a safe, secure, and habitable residence for all families. (Members with a slow internet connection should be aware that the file is nearly 10 MB and may take a few minutes to download.) Additionally, all tenants must be familiar with and follow the guidelines of the Water Use Policy.
