Southern California's year round warm climate makes it an exciting area to live. Minutes away from miles of beautiful beaches, HADDOCK's location at Sector San Diego is within a 2.5 hour s drive from snow skiing, and recreational wilderness and desert camping sites. San Diego is home to the Padres baseball club and the Chargers football team; both now have their own stadiums. The world famous San Diego Zoo, the Wild Animal Park, Sea World, Legoland and Knott's Soak city Water Park are additional fun places to visit within a 40-minute drive of downtown San Diego. San Diego is also home to several Navy and Marine corps Bases which provide Coast Guard members with Commissaries/Exchanges as well as Medical facilities.
