LTJG Mark A. Tatara
Lieutenant Junior Grade Tatara graduated from the United States Coast Guard
Academy in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
While at the Academy he played water polo, twice earning placement on the
Collegiate Water Polo Association’s All American Team. Upon commissioning,
Lieutenant Junior Grade Tatara served as a Deck Watch Officer and Supply
Officer aboard USCGC CONFIDENCE (WMEC 619), home ported in Port Canaveral,
Florida. Lieutenant Junior Grade Tatara is a native of Naperville, Illinois.
