PPR Information
All Aircraft require a PPR prior to arriving at Coast Guard Air Station Los Angeles. This may be submitted by contacting the Public Affairs Officer or call (310) 215 2112 ext. 277. Please provide the following information:
Ramp spaces are typically limited to Coast Guard helicopters only. Services are limited as CGAS Los Angeles is a small helicopter unit.
In addition, course rules into Coast Guard Air Station Los Angeles can be difficult to negotiate for unfamiliar aircrews. It is strongly recommended for crews to contact Airsta LA and discuss arrival options with a duty standing pilot prior to attempting entrance into the Class Bravo and Delta airspaces surrounding Los Angeles International Airport. In addition, the shore line routing is recommended for VFR arrivals and departures.
Please contact LA AIR on 345.0 UHF 15 minutes prior to arrival.
