Area Information
Station Burlington is located in approximately the center of the Eastern Shore of a Lake Champlain on the Vermont side.
Lake Champlain is the largest freshwater lake in the United States second only to the Great Lakes and is sometimes referred to as the 6th Great Lake. Nearly 120 miles long and 12 miles wide at its widest point, Lake Champlain stretches from Whitehall, New York, to just beyond the Canadian border. It is bordered by more than 580 miles of beautiful Vermont and New York shoreline offering spectacular views of the Adirondack and Green Mountains.
