Enforcement Division

Sector Northern New England's Response Enforcement Division is responsible for operation and administration of Sector's Maritime Homeland Security and other Law Enforcement missions, including: Ports, Waterways, and Coastal Security/Homeland Security (PWCS/HLS); Recreational Boater Safety (RBS); Commercial Fishing Vessel Safety (CFVS) enforcement; Living Marine Resources (LMR) enforcement; Migrant Interdiction, Counter Drug Operations, Defense Operations, and assisting in incident response and mitigation operations, including execution of search and rescue, environmental, pollution, and all hazards response.

The division directly oversees the scheduling, deployment and administration of Sector's eight multi-mission stations. Due to the operational nature of this division, the Enforcement Division works very closely with the Sector Command Center. Response is also responsible for coordinating local harbor patrols with CG Auxiliary, State & local partners.

The Enforcement Division is also responsible for assigning project officers and coordinating high profile events, such as: Presidential visits, Naval vessel visits and escorts, Air shows over navigable waterways, and numerous mass gathering marine events.
