Uniform for reporting is Tropical Blue Long from April through November and Service Dress Blue from December through March.  Reporting time is between 0700 and 1500.  ANT NEW YORK is located in Bayonne, NJ at the Bayonne Cruise Port and Ocean Terminal.  The street address is listed below.  Sector New York is located at Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island.

HOUSING INFORMATION

Personnel reporting can expect to live either in government leased housing in Bayonne, government housing at Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island or on the economy.  Ensure you work with your sponsor to learn which housing arrangement you will be assigned.  If it is determined that you will be living in Staten Island’s Coast Guard housing, contact Sector New York Housing Office.   If it is determined that you will be living on the economy, ensure you contact Sector New York Housing Office to obtain a release from mandatory government housing.  While this is not usually a problem, ensure you make the right calls prior to signing any lease. 

LOCAL AREA INFORMATION

Bayonne, NJ is located between Newark Bay and New York Harbor.  Views of the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan Skyline can be seen from the unit.  Bayonne is a bedroom community of Manhattan and has a rich Italian-American and Irish-American influence.  Bayonne also is one of the most important industrical hubs on the east coast, hosting the Global Marine Operating Terminal, Bayonne Cruise Port and several oil facilities.  Bayonne has easy access to Staten Island, New Jersey and Manhattan.  For more information on the community please visit the following sites:
