You should expect a phone call from your sponsor within one week of receiving your welcome aboard message. Feel free to contact your sponsor at any time during the reporting process. If you are unable to reach your sponsor feel free to contact the cutter’s Command Chief, Executive Officer or Commanding Officer.
If STURGEON BAY is underway when you arrive in Bayonne, report to CG Sector New York. The Administration Staff will coordinate your travel to meet STURGEON BAY and answer any questions you may have. Uniform for reporting is Tropical Blue Long from April through November and Service Dress Blue from December through March. Reporting time is between 0700 and 1300.

Bayonne, NJ is located between Newark Bay and New York Harbor. Views of the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan Skyline can be seen from the cutter. Bayonne is a bedroom community of Manhattan and has a rich Italian-American and Irish-American influence. Bayonne also is one of the most important industrical hubs on the east coast, hosting the Global Marine Operating Terminal, Bayonne Cruise Port and several oil facilities. Bayonne has easy access to Staten Island, New Jersey and Manhattan.
