Field Services Division |
Under the general direction and supervision of the Director, C4IT Service Center, the Chief, Field Services Division shall:
| Provide oversight and management of Electronic Systems Support Units (ESUs)/ Base C4IT Departments. |
| Ensure compliance with established engineering policy across all product lines and core technologies. |
| Ensure configuration management processes are followed. |
| Represent C4IT SC during Incidents of National Significance performing functions IAW C4IT SC CONOP. |
| Manage C4IT component during cutter Dry-Dock and Dockside availabilities. |
| Manage CASREP response, support and funding for all C4IT CASREPs. |
| Manage C4IT projects during new construction, relocation or expansion to shore facilities coordinating with the applicable C4IT Core Technologies/Product Lines and SILC Product Lines. |
| Provide Electronics representation on the Sector Logistics Compliance Inspection Team. |
| Provide management and technical support for Coast Guard C4IT test equipment. |
| Manage AFC-30, AFC-42 (CASREP/ILS/Dry Dock/Dockside), and AFC-80 (NTNO) funding for all ESUs/C4IT Departments. |
| Manage yearly AFC-42 IBUD request for CSF AFC-43 Matching Funds (SSMR funding). |
| Manage full oversight of the CG Centralized Service Desk in St Louis, MO, ensuring 24x7 end-user access to Coast Guard Standard Workstation technical support. |
