Morale, Well Being, and Recreation (MWR)
Personnel Support Department
The Morale, Well Being, and Recreation (MWR) Program mission is to uplift
the spirits of the Coast Guard Family and be an essential element of Coast
Guard readiness and retention through customer-owned and driven MWR Programs
and services around the world.
Base Los Angeles-Long Beach Morale Officer is responsible for running the MWR Program
for the local Base.

Base Los Angeles-Long Beach Morale gear rental policy:
- All rentals are coordinated via the Morale gear rental POC EM3 Jerry Martin
- Checking out an item requires a photocopied Military ID
- Items are to be returned clean and in operational condition
