The pharmacy is staffed with a pharmacy technician.  Pharmacy Officer Oversight is provided by the ATC Mobile Pharmacist.  The pharmacy dispenses prescribed medications to all Active Duty and eligible Reserve Coast Guard members. Since we do not have a Pharmacist on site, we cannot fill outside provider prescriptions.
In addition to providing prescription medications the pharmacy runs an "Over the Counter Program." This program allows members the option of obtaining medications to alleviate basic medical symptoms or conditions without scheduling an appointment. Members are authorized two medications per week, per household. Active duty members that are pregnant will need to check with their OB doctor prior to using the OTC program. In addition those members on flight status must have a flight surgeon's approval to use certain medications on the OTC program.
Medication refills can be obtained by visiting the pharmacy. Refill requests will not be taken over the phone. Walk-in requests will be filled as soon as possible.
