Dental Department

Hours of Operation:
Monday - Thursday:                              0700 - 1530
Friday:                                                    0700 - 1130* 
*(Please note that the clinic is closed for appointments on Friday's beginning at 1130 for Training and Medical Administration time)
Duty HS onboard M-F:                              1600-1800
The Clinic is closed daily from 1130-1230 for lunch.

We provide routine dental exams for active duty and reserve personnel on active orders.  We also provide other services including fillings, bonding, bridges, minor extractions, and root canals.  In addition, we provide annual cleanings by our Dental Hygienist when referred by the dental officer.
Class 1: Patients has current dental examination, and does not require dental treatment or reevaluation. Class 1 patients are worldwide deployable. 
Class 2: Patients with current dental examination, and require non-urgent dental treatment or reevaluation for oral conditions, which are unlikely to result in dental emergencies within 12 months. Class 2 are worldwide deployable.
Class 3: Patients who require urgent or emergent dental treatment. Class 3 patients normally are not considered to be worldwide deployable.
Class 4: Patients who require periodic dental examinations or patients with unknown dental classifications. Class 4 patients normally are not considered to be worldwide deployable
When an individual goes to a non Active Duty Dental Plan dentist or DOD dentist for an exam or treatment, the DD-2813 shall be filled out and sent via fax to (or Scan and send) the supporting clinic or sickbay for entry into DENCAS.
