SUBJ: 2012 RESERVE FAMILY READINESS AWARD (RFRA) WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
1. Congratulations to Port Security Unit (PSU) 305 for its selection
as the 2012 RFRA winner.
2. The Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs (ASD/RA)
annually recognizes units from each of the Armed Forces Reserve
components that have demonstrated excellence in family readiness and
its contribution to mission success.
3. From October 2011 through July 2012, PSU 305 was deployed overseas
in support of contingency operations to U.S. Central Command and U.S.
Southern Command. During these deployments, PSU 305 developed
innovative family support programs that helped deployed members stay
connected with their families.
