A. TRANSITIONAL COMPENSATION AND OTHER BENEFITS FOR ABUSED
DEPENDENTS, COMDTINST 1754.16 (SERIES)
1. This ALCOAST announces the promulgation of the most recent version
of Ref (A), effective 11 July 2012, which is available at the
following website:

2. Transitional compensation and other benefits are available to
qualifying dependents who have been abused by their sponsoring active
duty member when the member is subsequently discharged from the CG as
a result of the abusive behavior. Ref (A) clarifies new processes and
responsibilities resulting from organizational changes, and
incorporates Application for Transitional Compensation, Form CG-1754,
to facilitate the application process.
