The Leadership Development Center (LDC) announces the FY13 Commandants Performance Excellence Criteria (CPEC) Orientation course schedule. The purpose of this message is to increase awareness of the course offerings so interested members and employees can make plans to attend. 2. CPEC Orientation is a unique 2-day course that introduces students to the CPEC framework and teaches how the criteria are used as a leadership and management improvement tool. The course covers topics in leadership, strategic planning, customer focus, measurement, analysis, and knowledge management, workforce focus, operations focus, and results. Students learn how the criteria apply to their worlds of work. 3. Target audience is E6 to O6 (active duty and reserve), GS7 to GS15, and Auxiliarists. Command cadre will be given top priority. Those interested should contact local points of contact (POCs) to be placed on a roster. Local POCs, identified in paragraph 4, will provide logistical details to students as each class convening date approaches. 4.
