SUBJ: CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2012 CDR JOHN P. DAILEY AWARD FOR
OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP AND MENTORSHIP WITHIN THE C4IT COMMUNITY.
1. Nominations are now being accepted for the 2012 CDR John P. Dailey
award. (One active duty and one civilian employee will be selected).
2. The criteria, qualifications, and nominations procedures are
outlined below:
     A. All active duty and civilian employees currently serving in
C4IT billets are eligible.
     B. Nomination packages shall be submitted in memorandum format
through their respective commands to COMDT (CG-6), memorandum is
limited to two pages.
     C. Nominees must have displayed exceptional leadership, honored
our core values and have demonstrated noteworthy examples of
mentorship of junior personnel in meeting mission execution.
3. The deadline for submitting nominations for the CDR John P. Dailey
award is 31 OCT 12.
4. Winners will be announced via message traffic and awards will be
presented at a distinctive ceremony at Coast Guard Headquarters where
the winners will be recognized by the Assistant Commandant for
Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Information
Technology.
5. Travel expenses of each award recipient and one guest will be
funded by COMDT (CG-6).
