1. This ALCOAST announces establishment of Reserve Supplemental
Advancement Lists to E-5 and E-6. Commanding Officers shall ensure
widest dissemination of this message to all reserve enlisted members
in their AOR.
2. Reference (A) waived the Oct 2012 Reserve Service Wide Examination
(RSWE) for the following rates: BM1, BM2, DC2, EM1, EM2, ET1, ET2,
FS2, GM1, HS1, IS2, IV1, IV2, ME1, ME2, MK1, MK2, MST1, OS1, OS2,
PA2, SK2, and YN2.
3. Effective immediately through 15 Dec 2013, Commanding Officers and
Officers in Charge (OinCs) may submit requests via CGMS recommending
eligible members be placed on a Reserve Supplemental Eligibility List
when all applicable requirements identified in References (A) through
(E) above are met. A members standing on the supplemental list is
based solely on Date-Time-Group (DTG) of the requesting message. A
command may send a message as soon as the member meets the
requirements and all relevant data is viewable in Direct Access.
4. The new supplemental lists become effective 1 Jan 2013 or when
eligible candidates on the current Oct 2011 RSWE advancement lists
have been exhausted, and expire on 15 Dec 2013. All members on
existing supplemental advancement lists who have not advanced will be
carried to the new supplemental advancement lists if the rate remains
eligible.

requirements, and amplifying information are posted on the PPC(ADV)
