PRIMARY CANDIDATES ARE O-2S, O-3S, AND O-4S WHO WILL BE TOUR COMPLETE IN SUMMER 2011. IAW REF A, THE GRADUATE SELECTION PANEL WILL MEET THIS SUMMER TO SELECT ONE OFFICER FOR THIS PROGRAM. APPLICANTS SHALL SUBMIT CURRENT GENERAL GRADUATE RECORDS EXAMINATION (GRE) SCORES, AS DEFINED AND DESCRIBED IN REF B, TOGETHER WITH THEIR E-RESUME APPLICATION FOR THIS PROGRAM BY 11JUL10. THIS AREA OF STUDY PREPARES OFFICERS FOR POSITIONS IN THE CG LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. OFFICERS SELECTED WILL SPECIALIZE IN LEADERSHIP, ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT, ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR, INDUSTRIAL/ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY, OR HUMAN RESOURCES. NO PRIMARY SCHOOL IS MANDATED. SCHOOL SELECTION IS RESEARCHED BY THE SELECTED OFFICER AND FORWARDED TO THE PROGRAM MANAGER FOR APPROVAL. CHOICE OF INSTITUTION IS NEGOTIATED BETWEEN THE PROGRAM MANAGER AND THE SELECTEE, AND IS DEPENDENT ON PROGRAM CONTENT/LENGTH, TUITION COSTS, AND LOCATION. PROGRAM LENGTH IS UP TO 18 MONTHS. IF CHOOSING A SCHOOL THAT EXCEEDS AUTHORIZED TUITION, THE SELECTEE MAY BE REQUIRED TO SHARE TUITION EXPENSES. PAST GRADUATES OF THIS PROGRAM HAVE ATTENDED THE UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA, NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, PENNSYLVANIA STATE UNIVERSITY, THE UNIVERSITY OF SAN DIEGO, AND VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY. 3. THIS IS A HIGHLY COMPETITIVE PROGRAM. ON AVERAGE, 14 APPLICANTS ARE CONSIDERED EACH YEAR FOR THE ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP PROGRAM. APPLICANTS SHOULD HAVE STRONG ACADEMIC, PERFORMANCE, AND LEADERSHIP BACKGROUNDS. 4. AFTER COMPLETING THIS POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM, OFFICERS CAN EXPECT ASSIGNMENT TO THE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT CENTER (LDC INSTRUCTOR DUTY), CGHQ IN THE OFFICE OF LEADERSHIP AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CG-133), OR THE OFFICE OF TRAINING AND EDUCATION (FC-51).
