1. Intelligence Specialist advancement requirements will follow the
legacy Performance Qualification Guide (PQG) and End of Course Test
(EOCT) system through FY13 and will begin transitioning to the
Enlisted Rating Advancement Training System (ERATS) in FY14.
2. The new IS1 course (Course 0190, Edition 1) and End of Course Test
(EOCT) are available for ordering from the CG Institute. Education
Services Officers should order the new IS1 course materials and EOCT
via the Training and Academia Customer Care Tracking System (TACCTS).
The revised IS1 course and EOCT align with the latest Record of
Enlisted Performance Qualifications (EPQ) - Intelligence Specialist,
Form 3303C-IS (Rev 06/2010).  This form is available on the CGPortal
(https://elearning.uscg.mil/catalog).
3. Completion of the IS1 PQG will be required for participation in
the May 2013 Active Duty and October 2013 Reserve Service Wide Exam
(SWE) cycles.  In accordance with Ref (A), all EPQs for IS1 must be
completed prior to taking the SWE.
4. The IS1 PQG and EOCT have been designated as For Official Use Only
(FOUO) information.  The IS1 PQG and EOCT are to be controlled,
stored, handled, transmitted, and disposed of per Ref (B).
