LEADERSHIP TRAINING CONFERENCE

1.  Ref (A) announced the upcoming AAGEN Conference that takes place
on 7 June in Crystal City, VA.
2. Limited funding is available from COMDT (CG-12B). Requests for
funding must be submitted to michael.b.russell(at)uscg.mil in
Memorandum format, with confirmed availability to attend prior to
submission, and must be received NLT 30 May 2012. Requests must
include:
      a. Command approval in the thru line,
      b. An indication of whether this is your first affinity group
attended or, if not, the date of the last affinity group attended and
the funding source, and
      c. Estimated cost including airfare, per diem, local mileage,
and registration. Rental cars are not authorized.
3.  The Coast Guard Chief Financial Officer (CFO/COMDT (CG-8)), as
the USCG Senior Financial Officer, has reviewed and approved USCG
attendance/participation at this conference.  This approval
authorizes service obligation of appropriated funds for the purpose
of attending and supporting participation at this event.  Attendance
at this conference is in compliance with Ref (B).
