The Office of Leadership and Professional Development, CG-133, is seeking applications for the Organizational Leadership Postgraduate Program. Primary candidates are O-3s and O-4s who will be tour complete in summer 2013. IAW Ref A, the Graduate Selection Panel will meet this summer to select one officer for this program. Applicants shall submit current general Graduate Records Examination (GRE) scores, as defined and described in Ref B, together with their E-Resume application for this program by 10 JUN 12. Applicants should read Ref B in its entirety as it is very detailed and will answer many of the questions pertaining to the application process. 2. This area of study prepares officers for positions in the CG Leadership Development Program. Officers selected will specialize in Leadership, Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or Human Resources. No primary school is mandated. School selection is researched by the selected officer and forwarded to the program manager for approval. Choice of the institution is negotiated between the program manager and the selectee, and is dependent on the program content/length, tuition costs and location. Program length cannot exceed 18 months. If choosing a school that exceeds authorized tuition, the selectee may be required to share tuition expenses. Past graduates of this program have attended such institutions as the University of Pennsylvania, Northwestern University, Pennsylvania State University, the University of San Diego, and Vanderbilt University. 3. This is a highly competitive program. Last year 33 applicants for the Organizational Leadership Program were considered. Applicants should have a strong academic, performance, and leadership background. 4. After completing this postgraduate program, officers can expect assignment to the Leadership Development Center (LDC-Instructor duty), CGHQ in the Office of Leadership and Professional Development, CG-133, or the Office of Training and Education, FC-51. In addition, this program prepares officers for follow-on leadership responsibilities in challenging operational and staff assignments. 5.
