THE NEW PROCEDURES IDENTIFY A NEW STATUS DEFINITION CALLED UNSCHEDULED TELEWORK, WHICH ENABLES EMPLOYEES AND MILITARY MEMBERS TO WORK FROM HOME, OR AN ALTERNATE WORKSITE, ON NON-SCHEDULED TELEWORK DAYS, TO THE EXTENT POSSIBLE, WHEN SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS OR OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES DISRUPT COMMUTING IN THE WASHINGTON, DC AREA.
