1. This ALCOAST announces the publication of the Coast Guard Aviation
Medicine Manual, COMDTINST M6410.3A.
2. For clinical content not addressed in this Manual refer to the
Coast Guard Aeromedical Policy Letters (APLs)located at:
http://www.uscg.mil/hq/cg1/cg112/cg1121/default.asp under the
Aviation Medicine tab.  Any conditions not addressed in the CG APLs,
refer to the U.S. Army Aeromedical Policy Letters.
3. Commanding Officers are responsible for ensuring compliance with
this Manual.
4. No paper distribution will be made of this Manual. Official
distribution will be via the Coast Guard Directives System CD-ROM.
