SUBJ: EDUCATION SERVICES OFFICER (ESO) OCCUPATIONAL ANALYSIS
(OA)/TUITION ASSISTANCE END USER SURVEYS
1. This ALCOAST announces release of the OA survey for all ESOs and
the Tuition Assistance (TA) survey to selected TA recipients. These
surveys will help the FORCECOM chartered Voluntary Education /
Tuition Assistance Work Group (VETAWG) make data driven
recommendations to improve the organization and delivery of Voluntary
Education and Tuition Assistance benefits.  Commands are requested to
support these surveys by ensuring ample opportunity is given to their
people to participate.
2. ESO OA Survey Details: All active duty and civilian ESOs
(Regional, Full-time and Collateral Duty) will receive an email in
April 2012 containing a link to an online OA survey.  The ESO OA
Survey will stay active for two weeks and takes about 60 minutes to
complete.
3. TA User Survey Details: Approximately 500 recipients of TA will
receive an email in April 2012 containing a link to an online TA End
User survey.  The survey will stay active for two weeks and takes
about 15 minutes to complete.
4. The surveys were developed by the FORCECOM Performance Technology
Center (PTC) in collaboration with the VETAWG and a team of
accomplished performers from the field.
5. The survey is not required to be completed in one session.  It may
be saved and resumed at a later time.
