AS WITH PROJECT MANAGEMENT, THERE IS A LOGICAL SERIES OF STEPS THAT MUST BE TAKEN TO EFFECTIVELY AND EFFICIENTLY MANAGE CHANGE. BEST PRACTICE RESEARCH DESCRIBES A STRONG CONNECTION BETWEEN A STRUCTURED APPROACH AND THE SUCCESS OF THE CHANGE INITIATIVE. THE TOOLS ARE AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE IN THE COAST GUARD - MILITARY, CIVILIAN, ACTIVE DUTY, RESERVE, AND CONTRACTORS WHILE SUPPORTING COAST GUARD CONTRACTS - FOR THE PURPOSE OF LEADING CHANGE SYSTEMATICALLY. 3. OUR MODERNIZATION TEAM AND KEY PROJECT LEADERS HAVE MADE USE OF THESE TOOLS ALREADY. TRAINING HAS BEEN AND WILL BE PROVIDED FOR KEY CHANGE MANAGEMENT TEAMS. WE ENCOURAGE ALL LEADERS, AT ALL LEVELS, TO VISIT THE PROSCI WEB SITE, EXPLORE THE TOOLS, AND IF TIME PERMITS TO COMPLETE A SHORT TUTORIAL TO BECOME FAMILIAR WITH THE METHODS.
