SUBJ: FY13 TEAM LEADER/FACILITATOR COURSE SCHEDULE
1. The Leadership Development Center (LDC) announces the FY13 Team
Leader/Facilitator (TLFAC) class convening schedule. The purpose of
this message is to ensure wide dissemination and awareness so those
interested can take action and make plans to attend as students.
2. This course addresses the following leadership competencies: team
building, effective communications, influencing others, decision
making and problem solving, management and process improvement,
conflict management, and customer focus. The objective is to provide
students with tools, techniques, and concepts that will enable them
to more effectively lead groups and teams in the workplace.
3. Target audience is E6 to E9, W2 to W4, O1 to O5, GS9 to GS14, and
senior Auxiliary members. High performers in other pay grades are
also encouraged to attend with supervisor approval. Attendees should
have roles ranging from command cadre positions to those who provide
direct leadership to groups or teams, including first line
supervisors.
4. To attend, interested personnel should contact the following local
Points of Contact (POCs) to be placed on a roster. POCs will provide
logistics details as class convening dates approach. FY13 TLFAC
