SUBJ: CG SUPRT FREE ELECTRONIC TAX SERVICE
1.  CG SUPRT has launched the H and R Block at-home electronic filing
tax service enabling eligible members to file federal and state tax
returns online.
2.  Using a simple interface to walk quickly through the return
process, eligible personnel can:
     A.  Complete and file one federal and up to three state tax
returns electronically,
     B.  Check e-file status,
     C.  Be aware that H and R Block will be by your side in the rare
event of an audit, and
     D.  Experience 100 percent accurate calculations or H and R
Block
pays penalties and interest.
3.  The following personnel are eligible for the CG SUPRT H and R
Block at-home service:
     A.  All Coast Guard active duty and selected reserve members,
     B.  Spouses and dependent children of the members noted above,
who are registered in DEERS,
     C.  All civilian employees of the Coast Guard, and,
     D.  Household members and dependents of Coast Guard civilian
employees.
     NOTE: Except as detailed above Coast Guard members activated
under Title 10 are not eligible for this service.  Members on Title
10 orders should contact Military OneSource at 1-800-342-9647 or
access their webpage at www.militaryonesourceeap.org as they are
eligible for tax assistance under the Military OneSource tax service
program.
4.  H and R Block at-home or CG SUPRT will not complete your taxes.
You must complete the forms yourself online.  You must wait until you
receive all of your W-2s and other tax documents (1098 etc.) before
you file your return.  Otherwise, you may have to amend your return.
The H and R Block at-home online program is easy to use, and
technical assistance is available should you need it.

season, trained tax consultants are available 5 days a week from 0900
- 2000 EST.
