assignment opportunity exists for a Reserve LT/O3 - CDR/O5 at
LANTAREA (LANT-095)
The following information applies:

C. Duration of assignment/requested report date:  01 DEC 2012 - 30
SEP 2013
D. Unit/location: LANTAREA (LANT-095) / Portsmouth, VA
E. Required competencies: Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work with and lead others.
F. Preferred competencies: Experience with Sharepoint, wiki software,
and microsoft Visio. Lean Six Sigma or other business process
certification. Project Management experience.
G. The Atlantic Area Command is seeking an officer to serve as the
SOP and Directives Coordinator. This officer will work with the Chief
Knowledge Officer to expand the recently promulgated electronic
Standard Operating Procedures (eSOP).
H. Direct Access Position Number: 00093995 (Reflects LCDR/O-4 in
Direct Access, willing to accept other grades based on qualification
and experience of candidate.)
2. Application/Command Endorsement Requirements: Members must have
command approval, via e-resume command endorsement, to be selected
for this assignment. Use the following information to apply:
A. Interested applicants shall submit their E-resume in Direct Access
NLT 16 NOV 2012 for position number listed in paragraph 1.H. E-resume
should outline how member meets the required and/or preferred
competencies.
B. The command endorsement should specifically recommend/not
recommend applicant for selection, address applicants ability to
perform position requirements, validate members Individual Medical
Readiness (IMR) status as outlined in Chap 3 of ref c and compliance
with CG weight/body fat standards as outlined in ref d. Members with
outdated PHA or dental exams shall be considered Not Fit For Duty
until appropriate examination proves otherwise.
3. Applicants who will accrue more than 16 years of active duty
service upon completion of this active duty assignment shall indicate
cumulative active duty years (this assignment inclusive) on their
E-resume. Applicants accruing 16 or more years of active duty require
prior approval from PSC-rpm IAW ref e.
4. This solicitation will be closed to volunteers on 17 NOV 2012. All
E-resumes (with command endorsements) must be received by this date.
5. This assignment is considered Permanent Change of Station (PCS)
and PCS entitlements are authorized IAW Chap 5 of ref f.
