1. All Coast Guard members are required to meet medical and dental
readiness standards. To meet dental readiness requirements, Coast
Guard members must be rated as Dental Class 1 or Dental Class 2 IAW
reference A.
2. To improve RC dental readiness, the Reserve Health Readiness
Program (RHRP) contractor, Logistics Health Incorporated (LHI), will
contact all Selected Reserve (SELRES) members who are rated Dental
Class 4 to offer them a no-cost dental screening.
3.  Any follow-up care or treatment identified during the screening
must be completed by the members dental provider at the members
expense.  Members should provide an updated DD-2813 to their
servicing dental clinic for entry into DENCAS.
4. SELRES members are authorized a Readiness Management Period (RMP)
for the LHI dental screening IAW reference B.
