Schedule of Active Duty Promotion List and Inactive Duty Promotion List Officer Personnel Boards and Panels, PSCNOTE 1401 1. OVERVIEW - The AY2013 Chief Warrant Officer Command Screening Panel (CWOCSP) will convene on 01 OCT 12 to screen eligible CWO BOSNS for afloat and ashore command. To be considered by the CWOCSP, officers must meet the eligibility requirements detailed in Ref (A) and follow the instructions below. 2. E-RESUME SUBMISSION - Officers will request screening by submitting an E-resume via Direct Access by selecting "COMMAND SCREENING" in the position source pull-down menu. Enter "BOSN" in the job family block, then enter "201095" in the job code block and click on the yellow highlighted button labeled "search." Select the appropriate command screening panel "Ashore" or "Afloat" or both by clicking on the check box to the far right of the screen labeled "job basket." Finally, click the "add selected to job basket" button and continue to submit the E-resume as normal. Do not request a specific billet, unit, or position on this E-resume. Officers who do not meet eligibility requirements contained in Ref (A) should follow the guidance in Para 3 below. C. Officers unable to connect to Direct Access due to being underway or other extenuating circumstances may communicate their requests to screen via E-mail to the POC listed in Para 6. However, in such instances officers must follow up with an E-resume as soon as Direct Access connectivity is available. D. The CWOCSP will only be provided with lists of officers eligible for screening and will only consider specific information/remarks from E-resumes as outlined in Para 2A. Additional communications to the panel should be prepared per Ref (A). After the panel publishes the results, those who successfully screened will be encouraged to update E-resumes to reflect assignment preferences. 3. ELIGIBILITY CONFIRMATION - 30 days prior to the CWOCSP, OPM will publish a candidate confirmation message. Any officer whose name does not appear on that message and believes they qualify for screening due to special circumstances or unique qualifications, or believe their name was inadvertently omitted, should request screening via E-mail to the CWOCSP coordinator identified in Para 6. OPM will evaluate each request and make an eligiblity determination based on it's individual merits. Officers determined to be ineligible will be advised of their status, and may further communicate their request to the respective panel president as per Ref (A). 4. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - Ref (A) may also be accessed via CG PSC OPM PORTAL, Reference Library. 5. REMINDERS - All interested officers should verify that their Direct Access information is up to date and accurate. E-resumes for those officers requesting to screen for the CWOCSP must be submitted NLT 15 AUG 12. Do not list command positions or other choices on the CWOCSP E-resume. CWOCSP candidates should wait until after the appropriate CWOCSP deadline to complete an E-resume with specific assignment preferences. 7.
