SUBJ: OFF-SEASON LTJG ASSIGNMENT SOLICITATION FOR USCGC FIR (WLB-213)
OPERATIONS OFFICER
1. An off-season assignment opportunity exists for a LTJG to serve as
Operations Officer onboard USCGC FIR, homeported in Astoria, OR,
position number - 00065966.
2. All interested officers should update their e-resumes by COB 11
May 2012. Officers already in receipt of orders for AY12 may also
apply and must contact LCDR Decker prior to submitting an e-resume.
Requests for consideration must include a specific command
endorsement addressing the acceptability of a billet gap until summer
2013. Anticipated report date is July 2012.
3. Officers underway and unable to connect to Direct Access may email
assignment request and command endorsement directly to LCDR Decker.
