SUBJ: BASIC DAILY FOOD ALLOWANCE (BDFA) DECEMBER 2012
1. The issued BDFA for December 2012 is:
Afloat 11.86
Ashore 16.60
2. The Special Meal Supplement (SMS) for December 2012 is 2.37.
3. Requests for Extraordinary Operating Condition (EOC) shall be made
in accordance with ALCOAST 255/12 and 291/12.
4. In accordance with the Calendar Year 2012 Food Service Meal Rates,
Food Service Officers shall charge the standard or discount holiday
meal rate on 25 December 2012. The snack rate is authorized only when
a holiday meal is served.
5. Ensure all Food Service Officers receive a copy of this message.
