SUBJ: BASIC DAILY FOOD ALLOWANCE (BDFA) MARCH 2013
1. The issued BDFA for March 2013 is:
Afloat 11.99
Ashore 16.79
2. The Special Meal Supplement (SMS) for March 2013 is 2.40.
3. All CG District 17 units are authorized a 25 percent increase in
the BDFA based on the afloat rate.
4. Requests for Extraordinary Operating Condition (EOC) shall be made
in accordance with ALCOAST 255/12 and 291/12.
5. Commanding Officers and Officers-In-Charge shall ensure all Food
Service Officers receive a copy of this message.
