SUBJ: ASSIGNMENT YEAR (AY) 2014 ENLISTED ASSIGNMENTS ROADSHOW
SOLICITATION
1.  In preparation for the upcoming Enlisted Assignments Roadshow
(EAR) season, PSC-epm-2 is soliciting for command requests to receive
and/or host an EAR.  The purpose of the EAR is to provide invaluable
outreach to the enlisted workforce so that enlisted members and
command cadre may better understand the assignment process.  The EAR
is the ideal venue for PSC-epm-2 to bring awareness to the unique
challenges of AY 2014 and personally hear the prevailing concerns of
our enlisted members.
2.  Last summer, for AY 2013, PSC-epm-2 delivered 74 EAR
presentations to 326 units, with over 3,500 enlisted members in
attendance representing 11 percent of the enlisted workforce.  1,176
one-on-one career counseling sessions were also completed in
conjunction with the EAR presentations.
3.  Commands interested in receiving an EAR should submit requests to
the designated POC. Requests should also identify subjects of
particular interest. This input will be used to develop the AY 2014
EAR presentation.
4.  Due to funding constraints, we will not have the ability to
accommodate all requests.  Co-located units are encouraged to combine
Roadshow scheduling requests so that travel costs are minimized and
maximum outreach is achieved.  Video Teleconference may be an option
for the EAR in cases where funding, either from the receiving unit or
from PSC-epm-2, is unavailable.  The official EAR schedule will be
published in April 2013.
5.  Please submit all requests via e-mail to the POC NLT 22 March
2013 with "EAR 2014 Request" in the subject line.
