The Coast Guard Deployable Operations Group (DOG) provides operational commanders with rapid-deployment units tailored to meet specific threats either in the U.S. or anywhere else in the world. Units perform high-risk, high-profile tasks such as anti-terrorism operations; intelligence-cued boardings; and threat assessments involving nuclear, biological, or chemical weapons.
