Base Support Units and Detachments

The SILC Base Support Unit (BSU) provides tenant commands with the appropriate facilities, and hard-asset related support services necessary to facilitate operations. These functions include, but are not limited to public works and utilities, galley operations and management, janitorial and grounds-keeping services, hazardous materials and waste management, motor-pool management, fire prevention/protection, and physical security.
