| Average Cycle time to Complete the Physical Evaluation Board (PEB) Process | This is the average number of days it takes for a PEB to be adjudicated and accepted by the member once their MEB arrives at psd-de, up to but not including legal sufficiency review and action by the Final Approving Authority (FAA). Measure is expressed in number days. NOTE: Once the PEB gets to this point, expect another 6 to 8 weeks of legal review to include final approval. | IPEB findings reconsidered | IPEB findings may be reconsidered (based on additional evidence) at evaluee request, by the FPEB, by the Final Approving Authority, or by the IPEB itself. Once an IPEB decision is reconsidered (and a new finding is rendered by the IPEB) the evaluee has full due process in deciding to accept the findings or not. Each time an IPEB decision is reconsidered, the case is counted as a "reconsideration." This measure is a cumulative total of reconsiderations made by IPEBs. | 01 Jan 07 thru 01 Feb 08 |
