Aquatic Sports Center
The TRACEN Petaluma Aquatic Sports Center has a 2½ to 5 foot deep, 6 lane, 25-yard lap swimming pool and an attached 11 ½ foot deep end with a slide. The Aquatic Sports Center also offers a spa and a 1 ½ foot wading pool. The entire aquatic complex is safely enclosed with a 7-foot fence.
The Aquatic Sports Center has a large spacious deck with room to observe as well as host BBQ’s and pool parties. The pool has restroom and shower facilities on location.

Monday - Friday - 0530-0700 and 1000-1800
Saturday & Sunday - 1100-1500
Rec Swim
Wednesday - 1300-1600
Friday -1300-1800
Saturday/Sunday - 1100-1500
Group & Private Lessons Available
Lap Swim
All lap swimmers should sign in and out of the logbook located in the pool lobby entrance.
We keep the pool at a comfortable 81 degree temperature. We also offer kick boards, pull buoys, hand paddles, and water gloves while at the facility to maximize your lap swimming or water walking experience. These items can be found in the blue locker on deck.
Master’s Swimming
A coach oversees this organized adult swim program with emphasis on personal development in a relaxed, pressure-free environment. The program is open to all abilities. Age: 18 & up
Aqua Aerobics
A fun aquatic activity that uses the resistance of the water to provide smooth and variable resistance through full range of motion, improving strength, endurance, flexibility, and well-being in a low-impact and near weightless environment. Age: 18 & up
Youth Swim Team
Our youth swim team is for kids 6 through 17 years old. This programs focuses on development of swimming fundamentals and a love of swimming in a non-competitive environment with an emphasis on fun. Kids are placed in groups by ability and practice times vary. Ages: 6 through 17
Private Swimming Lessons
The Aquatic Staff offers Private Swimming Lessons year round. Each 25 minute session is only $40. Instructors are Red Cross Water Safety Instructor & Lifeguard certified.
Private Pool Parties
Private parties are generally held during normal pool hours.
Lifeguard Certification
Lifeguard training classes will be offered in the spring
