The Navy Department's top civilian said he believes every community should be open to women, including attack submarine crews and -- if they can qualify -- SEAL teams.

The 5th Annual WOW conference, held by the U.S. Department of Transportation Maritime Administration (MARAD) will be hosted by Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Buzzards Bay, MA; and is scheduled to take place October 27-29.
