Departments
Operations
The Operations Department is responsible for the collection, evaluation, and dissemination of tactical and operational information required for assigned missions and tasks and for the planning and support functions required to sustain OAK and her crew.
The Operations Department consists of four divisions:
- Navigation Division - Boatswain's Mates responsible for navigation, log-keeping, and aid positioning
- Administration Division - Yeoman, Storekeeper, and Health Services Technician responsible for administration, personnel services, finance, procurement, health, and emergency medical care
- Communications Division - Electronics Technicians responsbile for communications equipment, electronics, information systems, and server administration
- Commissary Division - Food Service Specialists responsible for food, beverages, and nutrition
