Station Emerald Isle
Coast Guard Station Emerald Isle is a small
boat station, located at the tip of the western end of Emerald Isle, NC and
around the point from the Bogue Inlet waterway. Station Emerald Isle was
recently reinstated as a fully manned Station after being a
Station Small since 1996. The Station's area of responsibility encompasses
approximately 50 nautical miles of the Atlantic Intercostals Waterway
(including Bogue Inlet, New River Inlet, White Oak River, New River and down
to Surf City, NC) and up to 30 nautical miles offshore.
