CDR TIM CUMMINS
Commander Cummins is currently assigned as Deputy
Sector Commander, Sector North Carolina.
His responsibilities include oversight of the day to day operations
and support for the Sector Commander and for all Coast Guard resources
within the state of North Carolina.
Commander Cummins is a 1991 graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and
holds a post graduate degree in Chemistry from the University of
Connecticut. In addition to
tours afloat and teaching chemistry at the Coast Guard Academy, he has
served in marine safety assignments at units in New York NY, Miami FL, and
Corpus Christi TX. Commander
Cummins most recently served as the Prevention Division Deputy for the Ninth
Coast Guard District in Cleveland, Ohio.
