Question-
"Can I bring my own boat or watercraft?"
Answer-
USCG Station Marathon policy is as follows: No trailored personal
boats/watercraft are allowed to be stored on, or launched from, the Station.
Canoes and kayaks that are not trailored are permitted on the property, but
can not used or launched from the base. You can put your non tailored
watercraft in the water aprox 2 miles from the base at Sombero Beach and
other locations as well. Your lodge host can provide you with
locations to launch your Non-Tailored watercraft.
Question-
"How far in advance can I request a RV pad?"
Answer-
There are 4 RV pads and can be booked up to a year in advance.
Question-
"I'm an active duty military member, How far in advance can I reserve one of
the cottages?"
Answer-
There are 4 cottages and active duty military members can reserve up to 6
months in advance.
Question-
"I need to make travel and leave arrangements, how do I know if my
application is processed?"
Answer-
If we are able to process your application you will receive a confirmation
and receipt for payment by FAX or EMAIL. If we are not able to process
your application you will notified by FAX or EMAIL.
Question-
"Are there any cottage openings?"
Answer-
Telephone inquiries will be accepted concerning the availability of the
facilities; however, reservations will not be accepted or confirmed by
telephone. Please read the reservations
instruction to better understand the process.
Question-
"I'm flexible and spontaneous, don't you have any last minute openings I can
get in?"
Answer-

you receive a email and the dates you want are listed,
you should IMMEDIATELY Fill out the application with the dates
